Our Experience
We had such a great time in Raro, we were really happy with our accommodation it was perfect for us and the kids! The Edgewater was great. Good location and seemed to be in a more sheltered part of the island as we didn’t have as much wind, the snorkelling was great just straight out in front of our villa. The food there was nice but we got a bit over it by the end so it was great that we hired a car and got around to check out a few different places.
The staff there were brilliant, our wedding day was everything that we wanted, super relaxed but put together, our celebrant was great, the flowers were beautiful, the buffet dinner was so yummy. Our only thing we would change is an earlier ceremony time (our fault) as we felt our photos were a bit rushed to get back in time for our dinner. We had a few people pull out last minute so our guest numbers were quite low. The Edgewater were so accommodating with this and upgraded our beverage package, offered my hair and makeup for free, gave us a 3 course dinner on the beach for Mike and I which was lovely, upgraded our couples massage to a 90 minute massage and facial and offered us a free cultural dance show.
So overall we were very happy with our trip! We would definitely go back - we are thinking we may go just the two of us for our anniversary. Oh and we saw whales go by the Edgewater each morning and night. That was a treat! Thanks so much for all of your work. We really appreciate it.
